Hello, I'm Sheida!
I am a chocolate loving, movie watching, umbrella loathing, world traveling, art admiring, soccer adoring, people observing, color hunting Iranian-American designer, currently living in Spain.
I am a proud California State University, Long Beach alumna with a BFA in Graphic Design and BA in Art History, with a passion for excellence and a meticulous focus for taking ideas from concept to launch. Currently, I am working as a UX designer at Nacar Design, while finishing my Master's degree in Design Management at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Barcelona, Spain.
When designing, my process is made of these phases:
Empathize & Research: I conduct research to learn about my users.
Define: I use my research to define a problem and look for opportunities to solve them.
Ideate: I brainstorm on potential solutions by sketching, wireframes, visual design, etc.
Test & iterate: I validate the ideas by prototyping the solutions to test with real users and and iterate on design accordingly.
Implement: I work with developers to bring all the research and design to life.
